2 Suspected robbers burned alive in Anambra

Jungle justice is still the order of the day in Anambra State as two suspected armed robbers were burnt to death by an angry mob in Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area. The two men were accused of snatching a ‘ghana-must-go’ bag of money from a woman as she was going to the bank. Shortly after snatching the bag, the robbers armed with small pistols shot sporadically in the air and zoomed off, but as fate will have it, they had an accident on their motorcyle while trying to speed off. The woman raised an alarm, and soon after an angry mob grew, surrounded the suspects, beat them, put tires around them and then proceeded to burn them alive. This incident comes just a few weeks after two other armed robbers were caught, and burned alive in Onitsha after robbing an Hausa man.
